Dr. Harold F. Demsko, D.D.S.

Owner

Dr. Demsko has been practicing dentistry in Windsor, VA since 1985. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1981 and his DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1985.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Southside Dental Society, and was a past president of the Portsmouth-Suffolk Dental Study Club.

His hobbies include fishing, hunting, diving, snowboarding, and most outdoor activities. He resides in Windsor, Virginia with his wife Joyce and has five children and three grandchildren.

Dr. Alya Elsayed-Ali, D.D.S.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Alya Elsayed-Ali was drawn to dentistry because of her passion for art and science. She grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Princess Anne High School in 2008. She then attended University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During her undergraduate studies she also completed the requirements for the Carolina Honors Program and the Walter White Buckley Jr. Public Service Scholars Program which provides a foundation for students committed to positive change through service. During the summer in undergrad, she attended a mission trip to Honduras through the Global Dental Brigades that first sparked her passion for dentistry.

She also shadowed at the University of Virginia Dentistry Clinic. Dr. Elsayed-Ali went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where she received an AD Williams Scholarship to research silver diamine fluoride, a material that is now widely used in public health and private practice dental clinics. Since earning her DDS in 2016, Dr. Elsayed-Ali has volunteered her services at the Chesapeake Care Clinic. Her clinical and continuing education interests include cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns and bridges, implants, oral surgery, root canal therapy, dentures, clear aligner orthodontics, and digital dentistry.

Her favorite features of dentistry are getting to know her patients on an individual level and motivating them to develop better oral and overall health routines. She currently resides in Suffolk with her husband Ryan and their young son. For fun, Dr. Elsayed-Ali enjoys playing with her son, walking around Smithfield, visiting Atlantic Beach NC, going out to eat, visiting art museums, and watching her two dogs chase each other in the backyard.

Dr. Steven Rassi, D.D.S.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Rassi is a native of southwest Florida where he graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Microbiology. On a scholarship with the U.S. Navy, he attended SUNY University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Rassi served five years as an active duty Navy Dentist which brought him to Hampton Roads. He served another three  years as a Reserve Navy Dentist. Before joining Dr. Demsko, he worked for several years in Portsmouth, VA.

In his spare time, Dr. Rassi enjoys fitness, going to the movies , attending live  theater and learning about naval history. He resides in Norfolk, VA  with his husband, Gary, and their two dogs, Rocco and Colby.

Dr. Rassi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Joyce Demsko

Office Manager

Joyce has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She is married to Dr. Demsko and they have a blended family of five children and three grandchildren.

When not in the office being a part of all the amazing dental work and smiling faces, she enjoys their small farm, going to the beach and family time.

Julie Bowden

Office Administrator

Julie has been with Dr Demsko for 30 years and is one of the voices you will most often hear when you call our office or check out after an appointment.

She and her husband Phil live in Walters and enjoy visiting Harrisonburg where their son Lee attends James Madison University.

Ashley Bradshaw

Insurance Coordinator

Ashley has 21 years of dedicated service in the dental field. She is a lifelong resident of the area, currently living in  Southampton county  with her husband, Lee, and two children Adelyn and Laine. Beyond Work, she’s a devoted mom cheering at her children’s  sporting events, enjoys beach days with her family and spending quality time with their dogs.

Megan Demsko

Megan Demsko brings with her a decade of experience in the dental field.

Born and raised in the charming town of Ivor, she shares a life with her husband, Blake, and two beautiful girls, Lily Grace and Bracey Mae.

Beyond dentistry, her heart finds joy in family moments where she cherishes time spent exploring, antiquing, and uncovering unique items.

Megan is very dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to our patients. She is thrilled to be a part of Windsor Dental Care office team and looks forward to creating smiles and fostering oral health in our wonderful community.

Lisa Edwards

Admin

Lisa works in the front office and has worked for Dr. Demsko for 27 years. She lives in the area, and has been married for 40 years with two children and five wonderful grandchilden.

Loraine Dinga

Lead Dental Hygienist

Lorraine attended Old Dominion University and completed the Dental Assisting program in 1981, then received her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1983. She has practiced Dental Hygiene in Newport News, Chesapeake and Windsor for the past 35 years. She and her three boys now reside in Smithfield, VA and enjoys many outdoor activities, including relaxing in the sun on most any beach.

Kelsey Searcy

Dental Hygienist

Kelsey grew up in Isle of Wight county and received patient care from our office for over 20 years. She began working as a receptionist at our office in 2017, graduated and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in 2020, and has now continued working at our office as a registered dental hygienist. She enjoys meeting new patients as well as treating friends, family, and the community she grew up in. Specializing in dental, hygiene care and routine, Kelsey uses that experience to work alongside her patients to treat and improve their oral health.

Vickie Christensen

Dental Hygienist

Vicky started working in dentistry in 1990 as a dental assistant for her childhood dentist While attending Old Dominion University and completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. She especially enjoys when patients return excited about their improved oral health after putting into practice her recommendations. Spending time with her family, taking long walks, and going to the beach are her favorite activities outside of the dental office.

Robin Smith

Dental Hygienist

Robin graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been a hygienist for over 40 years, and has practiced in five states and at a military clinic in Germany. Robin has a son and daughter and four grandchildren. She enjoys traveling to visit her children and grandchildren who all live out of state.

Paola Smith

Dental Assistant

Paola started her dental assistant career 13 years ago in New York where she is originally from. After taking a break to raise her two boys she’s beyond excited to be back doing what she is passionate about. She loves cooking, taking care of her family’s small farm, and spending time with her husband, two sons and dog King.

Samantha attended Old Dominion University and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor of history. She has worked at Windsor dental care for over a year as a dental assistant and has gained a passion for dentistry. Now Sam is working towards her goal of becoming a dental hygienist and hopes to join the dental hygiene program at ODU.

Diana Grady

Dental Hygienist

Diana has been practicing for over 20 years and is a graduate from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1983. She started her career in dentistry prior to college by working as a dental assistant. She is very caring and passionate at providing the best care to her patients. She is a team player and is always willing to help others. Diana is married and has two wonderful children. She loves spending time with her family and dog Oakley.

Alice Gail Matthews

Dental Assistant

Alice Gail Matthews has been married to Kevin Matthews for 25 years. She has three beautiful children and three beautiful grandchildren. She has been in dentistry for 32 years. She is also a state licensed EMT and a firefighter for Company 2 in Wakefield.
